Australia is one of the most vibrant of the consuming world’s coffee cultures. I recall visiting Sydney some years ago and being astounded by the size of the crowd of consumer visitors and the quality of the espressos being served in the booths of roasters and cafés at a local coffee festival. But despite the vitality of the Australian coffee tradition Coffee Review has never reviewed an Australian-roasted coffee. We hope to rectify that omission this coming June, when we review a range of coffees designed for brewed applications from Australian-based roasters. Australia has a particularly long and deep tradition in espresso roasting and production, but we have no doubt that the range and excellence of its coffees designed for brewed applications will impress as well. We look forward to our cupping. For further details and information please contact Ron Walters at ron@coffeereview.com .
